That's all find and dandy but it goes without saying that if he does come back he will be making himself a target. Not that I plan on having anything to do with him unless Absolutely necessary but there is only so much one can tolerate before things come to a boiling point. Granting him parole, allowing him the chance to come back is opening a can of worms that I hope everyone thought about when they were making this decision.

No, that most certainly doesn't go without saying. You have no right or justification whatsoever to attack of user of this forum, regardless of anything he might have done. It is your responsibility to control your behaviour, and afford him the respect any person is entitled to.

Moderation policies will be enforced. The community will be hostile to Milo. There are ways to be hostile without breaking forum rules. We're both being too figurative and too literal at the same time, and I think we all need to take a breather.

I give my absolute word that I will never undermine TSP again and you may cite this post as a proof than my coup for my incredulous nature if that does happen. One betrayal is one thing, but to be given a second chance and to make anyone regret it shows that it is nature, rather than an outlier event. But I really do not believe it is best or appropriate for me to seek reintegration into the region right now, and if I ever do, it will be much later. This decision is very useful for me in case I ever have something necessary to post here, but I don't suspect I'll post much otherwise. I respect that I am still not wanted here by many people, and the experience of citizens should always take priority over that of myself. I believe it is right to reallow my forum privileges for the reasons stated, with the expectation that I will respect everyone else and the general willingness or lack thereof to share my regular company.

You will only see me if and when I absolutely need to post something (e.g. time-sensitive Lazarus affairs, etc.), 99% of the time. It won't feel like anything is different, because in practice barely anything is.
Or, rather, I suppose to say that I would advise against anyone getting too riled up about me being paroled - or planning to pursue any assembly resolutions - until there is an actual realization of any of your fears (e.g. the disturbance of regional culture because of me beyond this thread). Though you may not believe I deserve decency, I do not see the harm in allowing me a chance to even briefly justify your concerns of being a bother now.
If I step out of line even once, I won't fight against my ban being reinstated. Seriously. But I think it'd be unfortunate and rash to re-ban me over fears that have yet to be given a current basis, because there is a practical purpose for my being able to post. And, speaking as someone who did used to be a citizen here, I also think it would set a dangerous precedent if an Assembly vote were used to remove a player from the forum/community/etc...
I concur -- I think it's a good thing that, as a high-profile member of a treatied ally, Milo has posting abilities on our forum.
