Yeah, you keep saying this QD, but it's not going to happen, and it doesn't make the opinions of those who don't participate any less valuable. The SPSF represents the entire region. If you want an army where only your input matters, and everybody who makes decisions about it are actually in it, do what the UDL did and what the FRA did and make your own independent army.

Actually, it does GR because then we have people talking out their ass. I'm not saying that those who participate in the army are the only people who should get a say. But, I think it's important to note that they have a lot more experience dealing with these issues.

Bullshit, Tsunamy. Nobody in The South Pacific has as much experience recruiting and leading a successful army as me - including our former Ministers of Army. I haven't wanted to touch the SPSF, not out of ignorance, but because the administration was a wreck and it regularly swings from invaderism to defenderism depending on who is elected as Minister.

I didn't mean to imply that you didn't, Uni. But someone who hasn't participated in the SPSF or military affairs elsewhere doesn't have a lot of experience to discuss how an army should be set up and run.

I'm not sure what most people's experiences are, I myself have gone on all of two missions in my NS history but that shouldn't stop anyone from offering some thoughts or opinions or even asking questions. Apparently, even people with experience have been having trouble getting it optimized.

While I really do respect your ability to recruit and run some great defender armies,(it was ME as the SPSF MoA that asked your help in AnneFrank), an independent army that both raids and defends doesn't regularly swing from invaderism to defenderism. It merely does both. And the administration was non existent, not a wreck. From January 2014 till late June, the SPSF was ONLY me and Geomania and the administration of it that existed was him and me on any given night seeing what was going on and joining in. We didn't advertise, we didn't recruit, we just played.
When RL took Geomania away from the game, I almost walked away then, but ran for MoA because of who was going to run would have made it a bigger train wreck then it is now. I got a few people involved, tried to get more, but like anything NS related, new people are few in a given time frame. The reason we are were we are is I tried to open it up to independent thinking to get bodies and offer opportunity to both sides.
This whole discussion is because we raid warzones and insignificant dead regions we pissed YOU off. I can respect your point of view. I really can. But as much as I came in, made things my way and "screwed it up". there is NOTHING stopping YOU from coming in, running it YOUR way and "fixing" it. Nothing at all.
As much as things have been "screwed up", there is only two armies out there that wouldn't just have me join right now and those that have issues would just require me to say "Ok, I'm all in to your ideaology" and all would be good.
Like I said, I respect your ability in the gameplay arena, but until you show it in TSP, it's meaningless. I dare you to run for MoA and build an SPSF without dragging your friends into the region for the short term to boost numbers and draw from TSP residents already on the forums and the RMB. I really dare you.

First of all, there is something stopping me from running in the MoA race: TSP is practically anti-defender. I'm regularly the grumpy gadfly around these parts for having the "radical" opinion that we shouldn't invade places. My presence in the SPSF would not exactly be welcomed in TSP.

Second, I've recruited elsewhere with the ESPA and RRA and always kept my recruits local. I don't see why I would need to do anything else with the SPSF.

I wouldn't say TSP is anti-defender, more anti-defender ONLY. My opinion of course - which might not be reflective of everyone in the region (who I will not attempt to speak for).

TSP isn't so much anti-defender as anti-missionary. If someone from TBH joined the region and then immediately started telling us all we should become raider they'd get a similar reaction.

'anti-missionary'

I like the ring to it. Angel

Your entitled to your opinions, but the SPSF, did participate in defending and liberations as much as it raided. I was there. I know what I did. We never ever had ideaology "discussions"/diagreements within the SPSF and did many joint ops with TEP, regularly. Detags of TBR were a very popular past time when nothing was going on.
