It was founded on 14 April 2011 and began operations on 1 November of that year as airQvait. Between 1 August 2016 and 7 July 2017, the company was known as airRoyal. Skylines serves every major city in Valkyria and seeks to expand its reach. Since 2016, the company has been a state-owned enterprise with the Valkyrian government owning 51% of the shares. The remaining 49% is divided between shareholders on the Pacifinext exchange.
