After a scathing investigative report by a local Theron news paper subsidy of The Federalist Papers, several high level officials of the Domestic Affairs Ministry are under investigation by Federal Police for embezzlement, bribery, and cronyism. Domestic Affairs Minister Maria Dagyte denies any knowledge of what these officials had done, and has placed all involved parties on unpaid administrative leave.

Zadiner is in a period of economic recession, with riots breaking out in the poorer western cities. They claim the Government is not doing anything to support the financial crisis es. Some radical groups have claimed that this is only occurring against Indigenous people, citing institutionalised racism.

The Gianlucian government announced that applications for asylum of IFF citizens will get processed faster as of now.

On another note the ratification of the World-Forum-Charter by the GI-landian governmental institutions gets recessed until after the election as it needs to be debated, if the membership in the WF will get implemented into the Gianlucian constitution.

After a period of fierce debate, the Imperial Senate has voted to ratify the Charter for the World Forum, with the majority of the Senators voting 125 for, 20 against, and five abstentions.  The Drakari Cultural Purity league and those who sympathize with them among the opposing Senators have vowed to continue challenging what they call 'an affront to the purity of the Drakari civilization.'

After an impassioned plea from the Imperial Family, the Senate has agreed to allow the resettling of Frost refugees, those from Reizen in particular, within Pax Dracon's towns and cities.  Empress Hestia herself stated that 'it is our duty as citizens of Pax Dracon and as human beings to aid those fleeing the horrific violence in their homelands.'

In a rare televised broadcast Crown Princess Remilia Firenze thanked the international community for taking in her subjects in their time of need, and expressed her gratitude to the defenders of Ikireijin for defending the city. She then hit back against states urging a return to the negotiating table stating that, "The empire will never negotiate with traitors that kill innocent people."

While the Princess addressed members of the media, multiple military transport planes have been seen ferrying troops into the city, slowly ferrying troops and refugees in and out of the city.

As polling continues throughout the day on the island of Sereva for the Farra elections, protests are being held in both Akhorn and Ciria. Violent incidents have occurred at both protests, including the fatal stabbing of a Valanturutacyo, an Erinoran policeman, outside the Mena Parlid.
