The government announced the result of the census today. According to the latest numbers GI-Land has a population of around 27,320,269. Almost 61% of which live in the 26 cities. The average population density lays at around 436 inhabitants/km².

Prime Minister Barrett has re-appointed World Preservation Movement's Gary Pierce as Vice-Prime Minister. Last time Gary Pierce was Vice-Prime Minister was in 2010, to former Prime Minister Harold Garcia. Prime Minister Barrett has re-iterated her words of warning concerning GID-20, saying that so far the country has 1 living case who is almost recovered and 1 dead. She is confident it can fade without causing any further damage but remains firm the country must work as a team for it to work.

A local Eggrarian man managed to supposedly "start from nothing" and pay off five consecutive house loans in 36 minutes. Economists are still baffled on how he managed to do this.

A hitch hiker from the Rabbitzian city of Oplin somehow managed to hike all the way up to Fluffington, meaning that the hiker managed to travel across the whole country of Rabbitz. Officials are puzzled as to how the hiker managed the feat even though the whole hike was recorded on the hiker's body camera.

Eggraria has officially found a 1% population minimum requirement of Catholic identifying citizens to allow an official seat on the Council of Religious Affairs in Eggraria. A meeting with the 5th District's Representative and the bishop of the Diocese of Rapatta.

Prime Minister Barrett came out in public today to address the GID-20 situation. She said she's happy with the situation, the country is in a great position, the first case has recovered and the Government are about to release former Prime Minister Renaldo Atis' body for a very strict funeral. She thinks in about 3 or 4 weeks the Government will be in a position to resume normal business in the country with restrictions in place to reduce the risk of a return to the country for the virus and scientists will continue to work on finding a vaccination which protects against the virus.
