Fresh allegations have surfaced against former Vice-Prime Minister Stewart Gill. Speaking to the press, Dr. Speaker Jonathon Wallace called on former Mr. Speaker Philip Horn and former Madam Deputy Speaker Maiya Henson to deal with the issue as the allegations refer to the time when they were running the Chamber. He acknowledged that the former Deputy Speaker has already responded but said that it's a process which needs to continue. He also invited them to return to Parliament for special addresses to the Chamber and the nation if they see fit.

Sallodesian safari parks are facing a large influx of Izaakian tourists. In a surprising turn of events, the Sallodesian Tourism Minister, Max Cooper, has stated that while Sallodesia shares a great deal of history and customs with it ancient motherland, Izaakian tourists should also consider safari's in neighbouring Stoinia to ease stress on Sallodesian parks.

President Blanc and the Manta Fleet have arrived in Rouketa ahead of today’s rocket launch. President Blanc will host the Prytanís and Vice Prytanís aboard the state yacht, from where they will watch Rhyanas first rocket launch, and a display by the IAF Aerobatic Team. The president will then host a formal dinner where cooperation will be on the menu along side many Izaakian specialities.

President Blanc congratulates Noor Aqaba on being Izaakias first WF Assembly speaker, calling it “A new dawn for international norms, relations and prosperity” she later went on to say that she “could not imagine a more suitable and deserving person to lead the WF Assembly.”

The Incompetent Democrats have announced Gary Santiago is running on their behalf in the Dirty City By-election, the Advanced Humanitarian League have announced Jai Rush as their candidate and the National Action Party have announced Sinéad Campos as their candidate.

During a special sitting of Parliament today, Vice-Prime Minister Barrett announced that she is calling a snap General Election in Autumn 2022 and that she intends to step down from Prime Minister, which she is returning to later this year, and Leader of the Modern Marxist Party. Dr. Speaker Jonathon Wallace also announced at the same sitting that he would step down as Speaker ahead of the election next year. He did, however, state and reiterate the point that there is a lot of work to do in the chamber and the country before Autumn 2022 arrives and that they are sticking around to see the country through that work.

Minister-President Raymond Doumergue has been allegedly arrested at his home by the Grand Ducal Guard. This seems to be related to the tense relations between Raymond Doumergue and Grand Duke Louis-Philippe III which had regained momentum this summer after a pretty uneventful spring. The last time the Grand Ducal Guard proceeded to arrest citizens was back in 1961 and it would be the first arrest of a member of the National Assembly since its creation in 2001.

The political reforms of 2001 did not grant political immunity to members of the National Assembly a situation that has been brought by Raymond Doumergue may times on the floor of the Chamber of Deputies, with the many resolutions being rejected by the Chamber of Peers.

Following a lengthy debate and discussion that extended into the next day, the Assembly has determined to keep the quill in circulation and in use, as a secondary tender pegged to the teign, concluding the session with the passage of the Special Secondary Tender Act 2021. The Act will be put into force this Monday, and all merchants nationwide have been sent a circular to advise them to adhere to the act and start the process of accepting the quill as official tender in all transactions. President Blanc arrived in Qaweritoyu last night, where she inspected troops at IAF Cadmium. She was later interviewed by famed television journalist Kellie Phillips. The next morning she had productive talks with Prime Minster Phelps before jetting off to Montacia for Unification Day tomorrow.

Leaked internal memos within the Imperial Frost Government revealed that several bureaucrats saw their government in the unenviable position of appearing to replace the BU as tensions continue to rise against Izaakia due to Izaakia's continued provocations against the Reformed Blockade Zone with their continued demand to enter an active mine field. The Notes have also revealed that the Empire plans to recommission their Yamato Class Battleships, previously decommissioned in the 1990s after Imperial doctrine shifted towards a submersible and carrier based doctrine, to bolster the number of surface vessels projected to intercept the Manta Fleet if Izaakia goes through with their provocation.
