In quick succession, the Qvaitican House of Representatives voted 381–0 and the Senate 26–0 in favor of imposing a complete embargo of imports and exports with the Ryccian region. President Harrison was there to sign the embargo into law.

The Erinoran Ura'sia, Yena Yamera-Hyudo has responded directly to her opponent, stating that he is, of course, right and that Erinor will be looking into membership of an international body as soon as possible.  She also said that she hoped Erinoran citizens would understand this move in light of the growing Ryccia/Federal Union Crisis, the Farengeto Civil War and the many other tensions in the region.
