Ultranationalist lawmakers condemned the Mirage Hills for their comments. One lawmaker was heard saying "our rescuers and aid workers are sent to disaster zones because we extend our hand in friendship, not to be taken advantage of. If they are unwilling to save themselves, why should other nations risk their own people to do so?"

Several radio stations in Zadiner have made fun of Gi-Land's Minister of Finance for his excessive use of commas. They mock him by talking like him.
I am Zadiner/Zak. Part of Assembly, some other stuff, Founder of some other region.
Hey, I have a bunch of issues. You don't need to care.

The president of Mirage Hills was accosted by reporters asking him questions asking him about the international backlash from the representatives actions, upon asking him, he stated in an interview to a anymous reporter and stated:
"Look, I let the representatives decide what some laws amd rules are made, whether or not how they state it as a brash statement or not, but I would like to clear up and say, what they ideally meant was that we shouldn't rely ln directly on international aid, I would take all the help that me and the nation can get, and I am grateful for it, but that is one of our fine nations faults, we severely underfund our weather research, and I am currently trying to fix that, and the event at Orrick broke the camels back and woke us from our sleep. And again, I would say that all the international workers that went in there that day are granted my personal gratitude and deserve respect, plus the nations that deemed this event worthy of sending the aid workers in there. I hope this clears the air a little bit."

Ura'sia Yena Yamera-Hyudo has announced that the Khasa Massirs will hold its first meeting since the earthquake in the Ciria Convention Centre on Friday, to discuss the consequences of the disaster and begin the process of setting up the new Khasa Yanorirs, which was supposed to have begun on the 2nd January. In a statement released to the media, she said, "Whilst we all need time to mourn and recover from the shock of this disaster, it is imperative that the gears of government begin turning at full speed as soon as possible. Erinor cannot wait for Ciria to recover. Instead, part of that long process of that recovery must be the return of Ciria as an active seat of power in this ancient nation."

Mirage Hills has according to numerous reports has started to increase funding in their sports sector, specifically soccer, when the press asked both sides, the responses were inconclusive. Upon this, Multiple spectators claim to see a Mirage Hills SC crest being walked into a under construction site, many claim the site will be home to a future stadium.

One spectator in the crowd of this site even claimed to see the crest being walked into the building, we were fortunate enough to catch him for a quick interview:
"Well yeah, I saw a large truck driving into the back entrances of the site, so I followed it around the back, It finally stopped in a garage. I waited there for around 15 minutes when I heard the driver close his vehicle door, so I hid around a pile of logs to see what happened. And I saw 3 more people come out of the garage which I assumed to move the package inside it. And I finally saw what they were moving inside, it looked like a large circular object, upon reading it, I saw the words "Mirage Hills SC" and I sorta overreacted to it. And yeah, I am excited for the future here!"
More info to soon be released as more breaks out.

Admiral Sato of the 8th fleet and Ambassador Kurono has issued a formal apology to the Erinoran people after receiving a report detailing the destruction of several damaged cultural and historical buildings during rescue operations. However, despite their apology, critics believe the apology to be insincere as the two Frosts made clear that saving the people trapped within the structures were far more important to them than the structures.
