The Chairman of the Omegan Centrist Party has unveiled their platform for the 2018 mid-terms in January. The platform appears to take some of the laissez-faire economic principles from the OFA and some of the social progressive principles from the OSP, and they will advocate for free trade and free travel. the other 4 parties will release platforms within the next few months with campaigning beginning in November.

The Resentine Federalist Republican Party has now stated their interest in working more closely with other Centrist Parties across Pacifica. In a press breifing about the reach out, Second Minister Thomas Reddiker said "We see a new need to expand our political ties with other nations. With an outreached hand we seek out new friends from abroad to share and discuss our political views, and further strengthen our alliance with other countries outside of Resentine." No statement from PM Gregory Gidenhiemer has been issued to say that the Liberal Democrats would be doing the same.

The Chair of the OCP, Elector Rex Kerry, was asked today about how he would feel about an international Centrist Party Alliance. His response: "Well I think it is about time we got to know our colleagues from other nations and if asked I would be privileged to host them here."

Second Minister Reddiker has officially announced a trip to the Federated States of Omega for next week. It is expected that he will be speaking to the Chair of the Omega Centrist Party, Rex Kerry, during his visit there.

During this morning's press briefing for the Elector Primo, the press secretary was asked about the rumored International Centrist Party Alliance being formed. The Liberal Party of the United Kingdom has declared its interest in joining the International Centrist Party Alliance.
In response to the proposed International Centrist Party Alliance, the Greens of the United Kingdom are calling for an international alliance called "Greenpac." Other parties are responding.
