As another victim of the Akhorn attack succumbs to their wounds in hospital, bringing the death toll to twelve, Ura'sio Jruniro Lama-Cyerwaro has made a speech to the nation, condemning the acts of terrorists, tyrants, bigots, fearmongerers and violent revolutionaries everywhere. "Erinorans do not traditionally celebrate Christmas," he said in conclusion, "but, I feel at this point in our Vamapin and in our present, national struggle, it behoves us to remember the lessons of that foreign tradition; lessons of peace and goodwill, of self-sacrifice and love."

In an official note, Papa Unclepear has "sent His Christmas greetings to all the revolutionaries that pray to Jesus Christ", remembering "that He was a true fighter for the people and a powerful sorcerer" and inciting the followers them to "rise up against their oppressors, just like Jesus chased the merchants away from the temple and then eat them".

The unorthodox assertions of sorcery and cannibalism are part of the dogma of Unclepearan marxist voodoo, the bizzare Bruuman state ideology and religion.

The National Assembly today has abolished speed limits in an effort to improve the efficiency of the national road transportation system and in an effort to recognize the desire of commuters to speed to get from point a to point b. The speed limit free zone will be two lanes both directs separated from the regular road system by crash barriers and guard rails. Individuals who wreck on the no speed lanes will be responsible if they were the ones causing the wreck.

The National Assembly today has also passed new legislation aimed at increasing cultural awareness of the over 700 tribes and ethnic groups within Ifreann Fuilteacha. This comes after a trend swept the country in which certain youth segments of the population appropriated symbols of several minority groups on popular apparel causing widespread protests in urbanized portions of the country.

The votes have been counted and checked, it is now time for Prime Minister Dixon to announce the 2017 Qaz Snap General Election results. "In order of the fewest seats obtained, here we go. The Party that got the fewest seats was the Liberal Democrats whose leader is Noah Ball. The Liberal Democrats got 3 seats in Parliament. The next Party is the Borders Party whose leader is Stewart Fitzgerald. The Borders Party got 6 seats in Parliament. Finally, the Party that got the most votes is the Modern Marxist Party whose leader is Joanna Barrett. The Modern Marxist Party got 491 seats in Parliament. The new Prime Minister of Qaweritoyu is, therefore, Joanna Barrett, and the country's first female Prime Minister. Congratulations to one and all and good luck."

The First Gentleman has congratulated Ms. Barrett and has appointed her as Prime Minister of Qaweritoyu.

Prime Minister Barrett has thanked everyone who has congratulated her and wished her good luck. She has said, "We live in a richly historic country and we must work together to protect the foundations that were laid down but also we must have our own fun and games and run Qaweritoyu in a new and original way too that has never been done before." She has also wished Mark Dixon all the best in his retirement. She is 35 years old. She is the Head of the Modern Marxist Party. She is married to Ivan Barrett and they have one child together, aged 2 years old.

Ura'sio Erinead Jruniro Lama-Cyerwaro has congratulated Joanna Barrett on her election victory in Qaweritoyu and wished her a very Happy Christmas, adding that he hopes that the Modern Marxist party is prepared to show the world true, progressive Socialism, rather than the brutal ideology espoused by the Voodoo People's Republic of Bruuma and Bafuto Serevai. "They choices the Qan government makes over the successive months and years will determine whether they will be a strong friend to Erinor, or whether our relationship will be more strained than it has been in recent weeks."
