Izaakian Premier Mountbatten announces new measures to protect the marine environment.
1) Prohibition of Foreign fishing fleets in the Exclusive Economic Zones of Izaakia and La Montagne 2) Marine protected zones that cover 80% of Izaakian waters, and 75% of La Montagne waters, including the Great Montagne Reef. 3) Strict fishing quotas that at 80% of the sustainable fishing limits of none protected areas.

Izaakian and Mountie Premier announces a referendum on proposals for governing the Izaakia territories. The proposals are for a federal system, with a central government in Izaakston, and 3 regional departments, La Montagne based in La cidadelle, Izaakston-New Mako conurbation based in New Mako and the Izaakian Keyli territories based in Polar City.
Imperial Kandorese Navy has deployed the new carrier IKN Shinoname together with the Second Battle fleet to conduct her first open sea trials. The ship is expected to complete her trials later this week.

La Montagne For 80% Against 20% New Mako and Izaakston For 64.2% Against 35.6% Izaakian Keyli Territories For 49.2% Against 50.8% Premier Mountbatten announces Federal Elections on Sunday 20th of September using a proportional representation system for 650 seats in the national parliament. Elections for regional assemblies will take place on 22nd of September (la Montagne), 24th of September (Izaakian Keyli territories) and the 26th of September (New Mako and Izaakston). Regional assemblies will begin their sessions on the 1st of October, until this point the Izaakian Parliament will debate on which powers will be devolved.
The Council of Priests of FiHami have declared Skai Ofiri as the new High Priest of FiHami following the year-long stretch without a High Priestess following the execution of the previous High Priestess for several charges from events last year. Many are applauding the "progressive" move, however, many more are denouncing the council for "listening to the will of the people rather than Ha'Finix".
"We do know thar Ofiri is chosen by Ha'Finix itself. There is no reason to believe that we would abandon the will of Ha'Finix in order to pursue some agenda."
