Prime Minister Barrett has sacked Keanan Webber as Foreign Minister whilst he's currently being questioned in relation to an attempted murder. She has replaced him with Emanuel Martin. She also appointed Benjamin Cobb Minister of Municipalities, Jimmie Coleman as Minister of Sycophancy and Taylor van Dyke as Propaganda Minister. Harold Garcia was voted the best Prime Minister of Qaweritoyu today, narrowly beating Joanna Barrett. Prime Minister Barrett has also said her parents raised her as gender neutral. Vice-Prime Minister Fuller has published his autobiography. Vice-Prime Minister Little has stated despite GID-20 uncertainty, the Government have decided to push forward and continue to work to safely reopen the country next week.

President Berry insists she is a valid President of Qaweritoyu despite ascending to the Office and not being elected. She has repeated to the country the new rules which former President Elliott introduced by Executive Order a few months ago. She has said an election every single time a President steps down is completely unnecessary and undermines the need for the regular elections every 7 years. She said this has bothered the Executive for over 10 years and that now was a good time to remove it. She said she forgives those calling her an invalid President, the people of the nation just need to get used to the new way of electing a President. She also observed that this does not allow for anyone to ascend to the Office of President as the chosen Vice-President is chosen by the elected President and thereafter, the ascended Vice-Presidents, chosen by elected Presidents choose their Vice-Presidents. She will be doing a speech about it tomorrow.

Police investigation is pointing toward a Suidkus separatist group called the "Orange Liberation Movement" as responsible for the mailbox bomb in Kaapstad earlier this week. Two suspects have been brought in for questioning.

Debates have heated up in the National Convention of Anserisa with the deposal of a controversial Constitutional amendment which would add to the Constitution that "Anserisa is a socialist state."
The Republican opposition is calling the amendment "An affront to democracy and to the Republican heritage of the nation which does not necessarily align to socialism."
The Conservatives have commented that : "The amendment is disgraceful and should've been a part of the electoral platform. Anserisans have not voted for this and we hope that the people will see right through this and never approve of the amendment."
