Prime Minister Barrett has said Qaweritoyu look forward to collaborating with Izaakia and establishing good relations between the two countries. She also expressed an interest in communicating to her Izaakian counterparts to further those relations. Vice-Prime Minister Ortiz has announced that due to HSQ guidelines in the wake of the relaxing of GID-20 restrictions, the Chambers of Parliament will be working on a reduced schedule. The Lower Chamber will meet on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and the Higher Chamber will meet on Mondays and Fridays. The Supreme Court will continue to work Monday to Friday. She has also paid tribute to HSQ staff for their efforts throughout the pandemic and says she intends to speak to the Prime Minister and President about a possible ceremony to commemorate those killed by GID-20.

There is a petition circulating on social media to sack the current Speaker of Parliament, Dr. Jonathon Wallace. Reasons are vague.

President Berry has discussed the possibility of becoming a nun in the future.

Prime Minister Barrett has announced she will be providing more funding to Qaz efforts to find a GID-20 vaccine. She will be providing this money before the end of the week.
