The reason I'm asking(And Necro'ing the tread) is that I wanted to do a Jurassic Park RP. I thought it'd be fun, especially with the new movie out.

I love dinosaurs and the whole idea of laying out the region's history in general, I'm currently trying to write my own nation's history so I was thinking about it a bit in relation to that. Starting at the beginning by maybe writing a really rough idea of our early history seems like a good start and with the wonderfully detailed map and tectonic plates all planned out already could it be possible that TSP started out as a super continent like Pangaea that split apart? It could bring an archaeological aspect into it as well as the dino related RP's without interfering with any nation's history as it would have occurred before they existed.

Two things about this:
1. Not all RPs have to be canon. You can easily make an RP that happens in an alternate world. Think of Earth 616 and others, for instance. 2. I have no problem assuming dinosaurs did exist. I also don't think we need to get into the specifics of what the extinction event was. Leaving it ambiguous could work just fine. I'd love a Jurassic Park RP, so canon or non-canon, go for it!
