I was visiting relatives for Thanksgiving. The USA is the only country that would create a holiday (and backstory) to mask the accidental genocide of the native people (via smallpox, bubonic plague, et al).

Don't you dare offend the purpose of Thanksgiving! Its the only(secure) day I get turkey on muh plate! I rarely get that delicious bird!

Thank you 'Murica for Thanksgiving. And Christmas as a gift-giving holiday(we actually get two such holidays!). And for a very high, highest in all Latin America, 0.863 HDI. And for progress. And for 'Murican citizenship. And democracy. And freedom of speech and stuff. I forgive you for all the atrocities you did to us in the the 20th Century(like the Ponce Massacre and crackdown on the pro-independence opposition and putting Vieques and Culebra islands as naval bases, even though they were populated and Vieques has higher cancer rates than anywhere else in Puerto Rico).
