2015 Pacific hurricane season
#11

No, but Im afraid of my nation getting destroyed again. Plus, I've heard of hurricanes destroying things in their path. I even have an example: my mother's family and Puerto Rico's general population. When the hurricane came, it was horrible(Hurricane George). Although they were lucky compared to many other people because their house was cement and was not destroyed, many people here suffered. A LOT. Many houses were destroyed, electricity, food and water were scarce(this happened to my mother as well) for a period of time. It was disastrous. I never felt a hurricane in my life in that magnitude, but my family tells me it was horrible. And if Ryccia is a war-torn nation being rebuilt, imagine. My nation would never recover again, or for a long period of time.

Yeah, but your nation has little reason to worry about a hurricane coming through. One never did, and one never did hit anyone else, so what do you have to worry about?

You are discussing this system. What do you think? What if a hurricane category 5 just passes through my nation?

Ruin, I say, ruin. Ryccia will be ruins.

Just based on the location of My country, I don't really see Resentine getting hit by hurricanes. Maybe Anton, but, that's it really. We have what I call the "Strait of Kringalia" on one side, and Open Ocean on another, but, based on my assumed Trade winds(South to North on the Western Continent, North to South on the East), I just don't see Resentine at risk for it.

Ryccia, because of this system we're discussing, you're going to make a hurricane preparedness system, with no IC background whatsoever. It's called Metagaming, taking OOC info and using it in IC.

Yeah, but stable countries make them work. Unstable/poor nations are doomed.

This would be perfect to get OCHASP into action.
