Hey Henn, didn't you use this same motto in the November 2014 Delegate election?

Yes. You are the first to point that out.

Nope, he's just the first to point it out.

In order to prep TSP's voters for the election, I have decided to take Raven's foreign scenario and have me and Bon try to solve them. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask them while we prepare.

Here is the scenario:
Quote:Due to a civil war brewing in another GCR region with which The South Pacific has previously had close ties, outside forces who are partly allied to The South Pacific move in amidst controversy. Both sides of the GCR government are in a constant battle of words and you are not able to get hold of either their Ambassador to The South Pacific or any senior member of their Government. You hear reports of various power struggles inside the cabinet and the regional community between the various gameplay alignments and see a mass of imported endorsements from outside forces either mass endorsing the delegate (packing their endorsements out massively) or endorsing members of the government who are taking a stand against one issue or another for whatever reason. Finally, after a few days you hear from a senior official in the region who assisted the liberation of The South Pacific during the Spring Coup of 2013, and they ask you to support one side of the regime, or the other.

How would you handle this situation? Would you consult any other figures before making a decision? What role does your foreign relations play in these decisions? Who could be influential outside of your cabinet and able to assist this situation?

How do you see your term being different from previous terms?

If the MoFA is nowhere near available, we'd have to find their cabinet members through all means necessary to coordinate a liberation. In most of cases, one can find them through IRC or PM in NationStates.

So, specifically what does that entail or look like or mean in practical terms rather than empty platitudes?

Effectively, we would want to leave behind tangible things(as tangible as one can get over a browser game) for future Cabinets and for The South Pacific as a whole, for an example in the MoRA, the Fellowship Programme. Essentially, a legacy that will continue to affect TSP for many terms to come.

You mean something like the Fellowship Programme is an example of the kind of thing you'd like to do?
