I'd be more than happy to have a go at this, afresh that is, on either side. Even up the numbers, so to speak.

I'm also in for whatever era we go for. That being said if we stay with the current timeline I'll be a Jedi on the side of the Rebels.
Ok, so once the election is over....I think we should restart. We can have a poll first and then based on that write out some background info for people so they have some guidelines.

Campaigns are over lol and the elections will close at 3:30PM EST tomorrow. What I meant was that it would be nice if the new MoRA, whoever they are, could start the poll and post
 However, that doesn't preclude people from discussing their favorite eras. I don't have a lot of detailed background info on eras myself, mostly I like the era from the KoTOR games and then the movies (both trilogies). You can certainly still tell that I'm a bit of a newbie, at least when it comes to TSP lol. Although, I'm glad the elections are actually taking place now, it means that this will happen sooner!
(Thanks for the information, I can't really tell due to my current masking)I do like the idea of, as GE put forth, an era surrounding rebellion within an established and all encompassing empire. Or completely the other way, with the Old Republic. I think one side should obviously be the underdog or 'emerging'. EDIT: I lied, I can see the election polls, I'm just a lazy bugger. Same here Also, if we were to do a RP based off of the movies, which trilogy would we do? Should we do the Clone Wars? Or should we do the Galactic Civil War? I prefer the Clone Wars over the Galactic Civil War, but I would be fine with any era.
Same here really, I don't mind the era when it comes down to it, just as long as the setting is clearly outlined.
