To make future RP easier for myself, I have decided to retcon Qvait. Here is what you must know:

• Issues 1–174 of The Qvaitican Cascade will not apply to the retconned Qvait.
  
• The map of Qvait will be dramatically altered.
  
• Qvait will have a different constitution
  
• President-Elect Margaret Harrison will serve a six-year term.
  
• Everything in Qvait's past before the year of 2016 will be ambiguous and I'll figure everything out as I go forward.
  

There may be other kinks that I did not name above. Now, I must explain myself. I did this because annual presidential elections proved to be too exhaustive. I want to slow things down. Starting 1 April, there will be nine Senators (18 on 1 April, 2018; and 26 on 1 April, 2020. Two Senators each for the twelve provinces and two for the District of Stockholm.) and 381 Representatives. If you have any questions, you may ask them in this thread.

Edit: I will start with all 26 Senators.

Or you could just instigate a coup or pass legislation that'll lead to "electoral reforms" so that you wouldn't have to retcon Qvaitican Cascade Issue 1-174 and make it easier on yourself.

But didn't you just pass a new constitution to change the frequency of elections? Why the need to completely retcon everythinng?

If it's alright with you, I'm going to backtrack a little. I don't know what I was thinking, but there will only be some aspects that will be retconned. Some issues between 1 and 174 in The Qvaitican Cascade will not apply to the retconned Qvait. I was thinking that since I already held an election, I couldn't change the government right away, but I will retcon the January 2016 election as well as the 2015 campaign. The new Constitution will take effect this Friday, 1 April.

In the Congress, there are three caucuses, the Left, the Center, and the Right. In the Senate, the upper chamber, the Socialists, Greens, and Labor compose the Left (13), the Silesian National Party compose the Center (2), and the Libertarians and Conservatives compose the Right (11). In the House, the Left is the majority (218) with 19 Socialists, 38 Greens, and 161 Labor. The Center has only 12 seats (SNP). The Right is the minority (151) with 27 Libertarians and 124 Conservatives. Because of the new Constitution, third parties have easier access to political offices.

There are 63 Representatives for Alderney, 60 for Algonquin, 37 for Euron, 34 for Cascadia, 31 for Ontario, 27 for Weston, 23 for East Brunswick, 23 for Unicy, 20 for New Camden, 20 for Silesia, 20 for Westborough, 16 for West Brunswick, and seven for the District of Stockholm.
