I've never quite been convinced of the value of CAIN outside of PR; and given the reasons TSP has delayed leaving as mentioned in the other thread, I believe it would be in TSP's best interests to leave.

Per discussion with the Cabinet, we are currently pausing our intent to see this voted on for now.

There are developments within CAIN at the moment which are relevant to this matter, and must be waited on to resolve before we should proceed with this matter.

I generally disagreed with the broad nature of CAIN's mission statement to begin with, as it left much open to interpretation with the Nazi Collaborator aspect.

Though saying so, I am not arguing for or against what CAIN may have achieved.

At the same time though, a region could achieve the objectives of CAIN, without such a treaty, and just a general acknowledgement and perhaps military support for regions resisting Nazi regions.

So I would support a repeal.

Let's bring this to a repeal vote. It's been here for 7 days. I motion to bring this to vote.

Given that the Cabinet has withdrawn its intent to repeal the treaty, I don’t believe it would be allowed under the Treaties Act to bring this vote to the floor.
