I think the dispatch on Local Council laws is lacking much information, and it only includes laws about the elections, not their actual powers; this is troublesome, considering that the LCs' main task is to be promoting activity game-side and many of them aren't very active here, where most of the laws that govern this entity reside.

Those are the laws the local council has created to rule over the gameside, nothing more. Other laws which affect the LC form part of the body of laws here in the Assembly, like the Charter, which defines what the LC actually is and the Border Control Act, which we're ostensibly discussing right now.

Yes, but considering they affect a governmental body that is mainly based game-side, I feel like at least these being in a dispatch somewhere there would be useful for people who cannot or do not want to be active elsewhere, for the aforementioned reasons.   

As someone who does not really visit the forums often (until now), this is a good idea, especially with the LC elections rolling around soon.

3. Powers of the Local Council and Delegate

(1) The Delegate, or a majority of the Local Council, may order a border control action against a nation they determine to have committed any of the following actions:
i. Spamming
ii. Trolling
iii. Flaming
iv. Harrassment

(2) The assent of the Council on Regional Security is required if the nation in question is not a low influence nation.

(3) The Delegate or Local Council must inform the Council on Regional Security immediately after having ordered a border control action.

(4) The Local Council may enact policy allowing border control actions within its purview to be performed unilaterally by a border control officer. Any change to such a policy must be clearly and immediately communicated to all border control officers.

Any suggestions on additional actions?

EDIT: As an additional thing, the LC approval part I feel hasn't been working. I'm not sure the LC even knows about the BCA sometimes, and if they're not an active user of offsite chats getting even the approval of one LC member is tough.
