Declaration of War on NPO
#11

Thanks Islands for answering the question. My current view is unless there is (potentially) substantially more evidence to support a case for war, I couldn't support this.

Just because someone doesn't believe in the things we believe in, isn't a good enough reason to go to war in my view.

I feel like allies to war is a really steep drop here and one that isn't especially needed.

They haven’t directly attacked us, nor do they pose a threat to us as of now. I don’t see enough benefits to justify going to war.

If they don't make progress to change their way in a satisfactory manner, we could talk. We should rather inquire what their long-term (read post-ED) plans are.

Unless there are grave developments I am not aware of yet, it's a no.

Funny. May I remind you of the New Lazarene Order in 2015? Or the People's Republic of Lazarus, founded in 2013, a state which Pergamon admitted to it being an NPO client state? And the ages-old tradition of infiltrating TNP? Our ally in the north has been invaded and infiltrated ever since antiquity (aka, the last decade and a half).

The day the NPO changes is one I would like to expect with open arms, but do not see coming. However, we do not have a proper casus belli nor the sufficient manpower to go to war. Shame. Would proscription be better? May I remind this Assembly that we still have that power?
Yes. However, this needs to be done in another diplomatic escalation step. Ideally after a certain time has passed. Doing it right now would make us look inconsistent. If the assembly wished for proscription, it should have done it within the same announcement when they withdrew from the Capricorn treaty.

I dont see how going from Allies last month to war tomorrow would be anything we would stand for as a region, unless our own sovereignty was exploited. IMO, they arent worth the effort at this point in time.
