Why do you want to be a member of the LegComm?

If not, why? Isn't a life without power being abused boring? Do you promise to try to keep TSP interesting?

Historically, I've only ever abused any powers I had when it served the region (or at least if I legitimately thought it did). I intend to keep that pattern of behavior of selective abuse of power.

As for TSP being interesting ... well, that's not really up to LegComm. Tounge
This is answer is terribly boring... but I guess you're right about LegComm not being the ones responsible for fun. So I guess you're a perfect fit! (at least as long as you give us such boring answers)

Speaking from experience the LegComm is probably the most boring position you can have. You wait for an applicant. Run a bunch of routine checks on them. Then accept or reject. (I'm oversimplifying of course, but still.)

First, the region needs LegComm to survive and considering I literally wrote the book on it, it makes sense to have me on it.

Second, as Prime Minister Nakari mentioned, I do have ideas for streamlining, simplifying, and improving the application process, and what better way to do that than to be part of the place that's responsible for it?

Any last questions before debate time expires and somebody inevitably motions?

Is there anything you would have liked to be asked, but weren't? And, if so, could you save time by answering that as well, please?

Q: Any conflicts of interest?
A: I'm still a citizen in Lazarus and Mariner Trench and, more recently, I've become a member of the Order of the Grey Wardens again. Home is and remains TSP, as it has always been, of course.

Q: How do you see the inherent change in your rule with the pending security reforms, should you be confirmed?
A: That's just how it is, I don't have much of an opinion on it with regards to myself. The specific suggestion I made with respect to LegComm changes in that thread well predate my appointment.

Q: Cake or Pie?
A: Pie.

Q: The answer to life, the universe, and everything?
A: 42

Q: Fighting one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?
A: Yes.
