"Good morning to you, Honorable Peony" answered the old man, clad in his dark attire, tipping his hat - "I am well, untamed by the flowing of the years. I hope you are enjoying a good season. As I believe you will be aware, my successor as the leader of Bruuma has come to light. Please, let me introduce Brother Unclepear". The future Dear Leader emerged from the shadow and sat at the left of its predecessor. Same dark glasses, but a red beret instead of the top hat. "I am honored to meet you, Peony of Huawan, and it is my wish that this will be the first of a series of fruitful meetings when I will ascend to my role".

"The embers of war in Reizen risks setting the whole South Pacific on fire. RIM is a timebomb and Ryccia a clueless bomber; the other factions must prioritize eliminating this threat. Then a solution can still be negotiated, provided that each side is given an equal voice and dignity at the table. We wish for the WPR to be able to advance socialism without shelling their blood, if they are given the fair condition to do so".

"As for the war between Valkyria and its neighbor, we don't side with anyone, although Ryccian's support for Hystaiga is giving us tought. I imagine that, given your proximity, you especially unwelcome this additional volatility. Their leaderships seem bent for war, so they must be either forced or convinced to put back the arms. We will stand in your support you should play a role in it".

"My predecessors the honorable nuwangs Akane Yan and Lingxin Yan has continuously maintained excellent diplomatic relations with Bruuma and its allies, I pray to Allah that we could continue to enjoy well-balanced diplomatic relations and if not more than what we have now."

"Sedunn and Frost have mobilized and marched into Kinjishi which has certainly made our friends in Kai-Fa alert. Our intelligence are still looking for the lost warheads from Termina, and Peonic coast guards have been working tirelessly to make sure no contraband would reach the wrong hands. As such our humanitarian relief efforts work tirelessly in Reizen, and we have stabilized the situation in the winter and spring." Responded The Peony, "Huawan wishes that proceeds of democracy in Reizen is assured, and that any unecessary deaths would remain, unecessary. Huawan therefore would not join the siege to Reizen unless its interests are at risk."

"The Kalkara war is a conflict that could be easily avoided with talks, something that the new Valkyrian government refused to do so with us, coincidentally, follows reports from our ambassador from being dishonorably refused an audience with the president and chancellor of Valkyria." Continued High Commodore Zheng He, "Huawan is dissapointed that Valkyria takes such a path so haphazardly, and would therefore prepare any plans amidst the looming war to maintain investor confidence, and to safeguard the intercontinental trade routes."

"Both Erinor and Gi-Land have provided enough support to protect the trade routes to the Rainbow islands. We have seen that the theatre of conflict will be situated in Hystagian waters, which would not only threaten trading vessels to the north and the rainbow islands, but also decrease our stakes in the area." Continued The Peony.

"The Maritime Chancellery have mapped out a safer route by circulating clockwise in the western continent to the north, passing Ryccian and Kysian coasts. The detour would have our vessels take a longer route, and therefore longer to arrive at the north. Even so, vessels will need to be alert if the Kalkaran war would be at sea." Responded High Commodore Zheng He as he took out his pen and drew on the digital map. Biting its lid in memory of his smoking years. "Huawan may be at close proximity to Valkyria as Bruuma is in close proximity with Hystagia."


"You are accurate that both of us wishes to protect any stakes we have in The South Pacific, and Huawan wishes to assure its role to protect Peonic maritime routes with the principle that the end justifies the proper means." Continued High Commodore Zheng He, "we would not only offer stationing rights that would directly protect our interests, we also offer an agreement for stronger trade partnerships that ensure the safety of our economy. The Peocracy of Huawan would like to write an agreement with the Voodoo Republic for intercontinental maritime security, which would ensure bilateral responsibility in ensuring the safety of each other's trade routes. Something that Huawan would deeply appreciate if the conflict were to reach in the north, and something Bruuma would appreciate with its limited naval assets."


"It has not been two decades and Huawan has been looped to another conflict. War never ends, sadly, and some may argue that the most difficult part is winning it. I believe that the hardest part is after the conflict, where we pick up what's left, and help our statesmen recover from the fact that the lives they knew, will henceforth not be the same again." The Peony then sat closer, smiling confidently to mirror the Papa's body language. "It is important to keep hope alight, and I am sure you share our sentiments, Papa and Brother Unclepear."

As Brother Unclepear will soon lead the nation, I’d like for him to take the lead in this negotiation”.

“Thank you Eternal Leader. Given the mutual interests in a stronger partnership on trade and maritime security, I’ll move on the details of the latter. We surely agree to the bilateral responsibility in ensuring the safety of each other's trade routes in the current situation. Should one of us enter the war at the side of either of the warring parties however, I believe that, in line with positions we have expressed before, the other should not be forced in turn to be drawn in the war”.
