FiHami/Great Novania
#11

"Your situation is dire indeed..." Andresa stops to think for a few seconds

"Have you considered the use of unmanned craft to eliminate the threat from above? It can be clean and efficient. However you would need to consider the risk of civillian casualties, and if risking the life of innocent people is worth to eliminate this threat. We can help you by providing our best unmanned craft and the equipment to use and repair it. However the decision to use this attack strategy is yours."

"This idea sounds good, though we are not in possession of such technology-" Toa'a begins to speak, only to be interrupted by Finix.

"Even if there is just one civilian in that base, I would like to lead a team through and rescue any potential people in that base who have nothing to do with the war." Finix paused to think. "I will lead a mission to find any civilians on the base. When I am done, I will say that I am in a safe locale and that you have permission to utterly destroy them. If I don't respond in 4 hours, then you have permission to destroy the area because at that point I would almost certainly have been killed. How does this sound?"

"No. You will not do that. There's no reason to suspect civilians residing on the base-"

"Minister Toa'a, who is ki Ha'Coron' in FiHami?" Finix interrupted Toa'a before he could finish his sentence. She then turned back to Andresa. "Honorable Andresa, I do believe that we would gratefully accept your offer. How would FiHami be able to return the favor to your wonderful nation?"

"I believe that your friendship will already be a great reward. In these times of tension, having friendly relations can benefit both of our nations."

She pauses for a second to think.

"I believe that we can help you with more than this. We can send one of our squads specialized in covert operations to help you extract civillians from the base. We can also help by providing equipment for your mission."

Finix smiled, standing up from the chair she sat in joyfully.

"Andresa, and all of Great Novania, friends of FiHami! Your help is greatly appreciated in the fight for our right to sof- uh... soferenity? No, Soperety... no. Sovereignty. That's the word, no? These agreements sound good to me." Finix sat back down again, regaining her strict, serious composure once again.

Andresa smiled.
"We are glad to be able to help, we will send everything as soon as we can. Is there anything else we could help you with?"

"May Ha'Finix rain kindness and blessings upon you and your fellow people."  Finix said, putting the pair of glasses back on her face.  I believe that we are done, then.  It was an honor meeting you."

"We look forward to growing friendship between Great Novania and FiHami."  Toa'a simply said, standing up to walk away.  "Oh, and if anyone asks, this is not Finix, but my niece who is interested in politics... Just in case."

The FiHami officials left the warehouse and made it back to FiHami rather quickly after the meeting, with a rekindled sense of hope stirring in their souls.
