Recommendation of PenguinPies to the Council on Regional Security
It is with great pleasure that the Council on Regional Security submits to the Assembly its recommendation that PenguinPies (a.k.a. Penguin) be approved for membership in our institution. Penguin has a long and admirable history in this region. She has served as Minister of Foreign Affairs (Sep-Dec 2012) and, perhaps most notable, as Vice Delegate during the Tsunamy administration. In this latter capacity she served as ex officio chair of the Committee for State Security, the precursor to the Council on Regional Security. Currently Penguin is a member of the Legislator Committee, having served in this position since November 2019. Given her long history, unwavering commitment to the Coalition and extensive experience within its government, we believe she will be welcome addition to the Council. Penguin currently holds 493 World Assembly endorsements, has more than 150,000 influence points and holds the rank of Apprentice. She has also been a legislator for well over the required minimum of six months, thus meeting all the technical and legal requirements for membership. We believe that Penguin would be an asset to this Council, and express our hope that the Assembly will, after a thorough confirmation process, approve this nomination and allow her to further contribute to regional security. Admittedly I was on the fence about admitting yet another animal into the Council but my hesitance was soon overcome when a shipment of plush toys arrived from PenguinPies.
