An act amending the Cultural Act to declare llamas as the official animal and the lampshade as the official headwear of the South Pacific; to include the common name of Cocos nucifera as well as italicising its scientific name; and fixed the misspelling of curaçao in the ingredient list of SPIT.

1. Identity

(5) The official plant of the region is the coconut tree (Cocos nucifera).

(6) The official animal of the region is the llama (Lama glama).

(6)(7) The official beverage of the region is South Pacific Iced Tea, the recipe of which shall be composed of but not exclusive to--:
a. vodka,
b. rum,
c. tequila,
d. blue curacaocuraçao, and
e. lemon-lime soda.

As an Independessert, I cannot in good conscience agree to such a narrow-minded approach to dessert. Also, there's no mention of the pie being served with cream, ice cream or custard, which is just wrong. Hard (crust) no!

This amendment does not ban other desserts, just like how the declaration of SPIT as official drink does not ban champagne or water. Even with the passing of this amendment, everyone in the South Pacific can eat whatever dessert their hearts might desire.
