What is Absolustan?

Absolustan is a newly formed nation founded upon the bloody uprising within a former nation known as Rotika. The uprising is said to take many months, or even years in preparation, but merely weeks in execution thanks to ferocity and tenacity of the insurgents, as well as the massive number of participants involved in toppling the government.

Wait, what? Just like that?

Yes, just like that. Many theorists are debating on the methods which are used by the insurgents to prepare for the consequent uprising. Some believed the leader, now known as "Smith Brownell", has recruited many thousands of former prisoners, as evident by the presence of well-known criminals and serial killers involved in the uprising. Others believed a party was involved in secretly handing weapons to the insurgents, which would explain the missing arsenal within the armory of the defense forces. There have also been sightings of a mysterious figure, only known as "Silver X", who is now blamed by some of the theorists as responsible for making all the connections together, allowing the uprising to proceed as planned.

Who are the important players here?

Following the success of the uprising, the name of now-supreme leader of Absolustan is officially known to the public as "Smith Brownell", and he can be seen throughout the television. The man in question appears to be quite tall in appearance, and possesses extra ordinary strength, as shown by his ability to mutilate his victims with his own hands. He is also shown to be remorseless and stoic, completely reactionless to the havoc he and his cronies have caused. It is unclear how he managed to recruit prisoners into fighting for his cause, but it is generally believed that his tendency to instill fear onto his victims may have been responsible.

In addition, a mysterious figure has been sighted numerous time, each donning the same tuxedo suit, and a shade. Nicknamed "Silver X", many believed he is responsible for many factors that would lead to the success of the uprising. While mystery still surrounds him, he was often seen alongside Smith, indicating an important relationship between the two. He was also seen once with a various kind of unfamiliar equipment that may have its origin traced back to the Rotikan government's military.

Right, so these fuckers took over the country, but surely it won't last long, yes?

It depends on how the self-proclaimed Absolustanists will sustain themselves. The current government system or lack there of, is ruled under the system of theocracy, where Smith and only Smith is seen as the divine being, with the rest of population below him being seen as either tools, or obstacles in his way. The said system is certainly doomed to fail at some point, and many estimate the so-called nation will collapse in mere three months, unless a significant change takes place.

Unfortunately, with the presence of Silver X as his right hand side, it is likely he will attempt communication with the leader, and drive him into changing his ruling system, or at least alter it to a point of sustainability. The fact there were so many prisoners involved in the uprising also suggests the possibility of their loyalty to the leader, whether voluntary or involuntary. Should there be a way to turn the fearful citizens into loyal Absolustanists, the nation would see a significant increase in support, and decrease in resistance, further increasing longevity of the nation that many wish to see it gone.

Why don't we just invade them, then?

The Rotikans, while not the most powerful nation in the South Pacific, has amassed a vast number of military vehicles such as tanks, IFVs, howitzers, aircrafts and choppers within their lifetime. With the success of the uprising however, it can be safely assumed that any government assets and military arsenals will be seized by the regime, giving Absolustan a significant boost in manpower. The defeat of the Rotikan government despite possessing such arsenal implies the ruthlessness of the uprising, with the report suggesting no known government officials made it out alive from the massacre.

In addition, the Silver X and evidence of his assistances to the nation suggests the possibility of a potential arms race. If such were the case, the Absolustanists would be seen armed with much more modern technology, or possibly the ones reminiscent of sci-fi weapons from the movie.

The most worrying concern however, lies in the possession of nuclear power plants, and weapons, which are now likely under the possession of the regime as well, and given their ruthlessness and tendency to commit genocide on just about anything, the nation is very likely to attack anyone with nuclear weapons with or without hesitation or provocation from other nations.

What is to be taken from here?

Absolustan is a newly formed 'nation' that openly speaks of its crimes, bloody history, and ambition, that is to take over the world as we know it. With the defeat of Rotikan government, it has seized any remaining assets, and thus becomes a threat that is not to be underestimated. With the possession of such arsenals and nuclear weapons, it is very likely that, unless a diplomatic intervention is proposed, the nation will unleash the chaos into the world, sooner or later.
