There's no point in having tools if you don't use them - I think all Legislators, including myself, should demand conformity to the Sunshine Act, regular Q&As, and updates on the unified Cabinet Agenda (something I was proud of to pioneer, that I was disappointed to see the Penguin Cabinet not continue.) If we in the Assembly start using those tools, I think we will be much better off on the subject of Cabinet accountability. I mean, excuse me if I'm being dense, but isn't this thread a demand for accountability? Regardless, in the same vein as Seraph and Kris, I will add that if people aren't interested in accountability no amount of openness will help. And, it's not a matter of "being conditioned"; I could make a list of people — myself included! — who have the knowledge and standing in the region that we could have been asking questions about the current Cabinet and we haven't been before this thread. That's not an argument to say this shouldn't be done (as I don't think Seraph nor Kris were saying either), but it's an acknowledgement of reality.
