Doctor Yan watched the sun trying to unveil itself above the horizon, she opened her water bottle and ate date fruits. It was a couple of days after the start of Ramadhan, and she was feeling amused that her plane is fighting against the clock and allow her to eat before the fast officially started. She had been awfully busy lately with her candidacy for the doctorate, and her dissertation is on the rocks due to administration problems. There were plans that she had to cancel or postpone, leaving most matters to her premier or lord Zheng He.


She was tired, she took out some vitamins from her purse, and consumed them with a bit of stress and irritation. Things are never easy, and she can never catch a break. There's always an issue, an uncontrollable variable that only haunts her. It's difficult to relax her body with so many things on her mind. As she adjusted the air conditioner of her plane cabin, she closed her eyes and took an uneasy rest, she felt the call for prayer was already made, and that she could not fight against the clock anymore.

The plane arrived at 7 in the morning at Hsi'an Airport, The Peony saw the row of soldiers standing neatly in a line around the arrival carpet. She gazes them across the window as she was escorted by her guardians. She saw Rin in front and answered her bow with a courteous nod. Lady Diao Chan and High Commodore Zheng He are ready to disembark behind her, they were cordial as always, a meeting was planned regarding the Peonic Commonwealth of Anzhou, a meeting with the Prime Minister is in order.

As the plane doors open, the Peonic guardians rushed out, one by one, until Rin, the High Knight of the Royal Guardians stepped out, and stood next to the plane stairs. Holding her sword on her side, she shouted the words that echo the airport.

"Attention honourable people of Anzhou, the Royal Empress of the Peocracy arrives!" Announced Rin with sound clear and strong.

"The Royal Empress arrives!" They shouted back.

It was her cue, The Peony got out of the door, and made her way down with a straight back, and an elegant step.

"All hail the honourable royal Empress!" Rin shouted, commanding the announcement of the Peony's arrival.

"All hail the honourable royal Empress!" the soldiers shouted back in unison.

"All hail the honourable royal Empress!"

"All hail the honourable royal Empress!"

The cheers rocked the airspace until the Peony entered her motorcade. Within minutes, the car ran out, en route to the Capitol building, where she is to meet her Prime Minister.

The car arrived in the capitol, and the flags of the two Peonic states continued to be blown from the wind. A Peonic guardian opened the door. As Rin exited the car first, The Peony saw the men in white, with the white spiked pith hat. They stood proudly alongside the Peonic Royal Guardians and the Army of Anzhou, with a rifle on their side.



As she got out of the car, she analyzed the cannons that brandished the surrounding of the capitol, and the controlled group of journalists and photographers taking the picture of her entry from afar. It was an interesting day.

She waited for Diao Chan and Zheng He to exit the car with her, before moving into the Capitol entry. The Prime Minister is definitely waiting for her inside the capitol, and she walked with the escort into the Capitol building. She took a deep breath, and said a prayer, before entering.
