OPENING VOICEOVER (BBS):

"Once again as the Zersbach sky falls and its skyline radiates in the background, we will turn to the Zersbach-Ausbrucken Stadium where we will go full circle with the end of the Summer Youth Games of the First Olympiad. A commemoration of wonders, they say, will be the mantra of this dignified farewell as Zersbach passes the baton to the future."


CLOSING CEREMONY
SUMMER YOUTH GAMES OF THE I OLYMPIAD (2021)
ZERSBACH, HAOENE-ZERSBACH, BESERN

THEME: COMMEMORATION OF WONDERS

SEGMENT 1: 'THE MEMORIES'

(OOC: This segment is purposefully left empty as a result of incomplete tournaments and being all-out boring to write. Also, time restrictions. The writer will consider going back and editing this placeholder in the future. This segment is supposed to show highlights of the Youth Olympiad for 20 minutes before starting the ceremony officially with a round of fireworks.)

SEGMENT 2: 'TOGETHER AGAIN'

The stadium fades to black.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the delegations will arrive into the gallery. The President and Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Besern and the president of the POC shall make their appearances."

A triumphant music piece started to play on the speakers, equivalent to those played on medal ceremonies during the Youth Olympiad. A spotlight is shown at the gallery as the President, Erbe Schulte, the Chancellor, Atrueue Vischervonda and the POC president [placeholder] walks in.

"The President and the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Besern and the President of the Pacifican Olympiad Committee as they take their seats."

"The delegates of [placeholder], including [placeholder leader] shall make their appearances."

The mentioned delegates walk into the gallery, giving a wave as the cameras facing towards them are readjusted. They take their seats. After a minute, the triumphant music fades out as a soft music plays in the background.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the flags of the Federal Republic of Besern and the State of Haoene-Zersbach."

12 athletes, from the Besernian team and Haoene-Zersbach, of varying ages then enter the stadium courtyard, in two groups of six holding the Besernian flag and the Haoene-Zersbach flag. They make their way through a straight path as they wave towards the camera."

[pretend this is an announcement mentioning the athletes since there are a thousand placeholders in here]

The athletes then walk towards a band of guards who then take over the group in hoisting it onto the flagpoles.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please stand the national anthem of the Federal Republic of Besern."

The guards are in a ready position near the flagpoles, which were close to the area where the cauldron is at, while the camera pans to the Haoene-Zersbach Symphony Orchestra and Youth Choir at the side of the stadium.

ANNEX A: NATIONAL ANTHEM: 'DAR BERSCHES BODE'

[OOC: To the tune of 'Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau'.]

The camera faces towards the raised Besernian flag, along with the raised Haoene-Zersbach flag as they start waving in the air. They are followed by fireworks.

SEGMENT 3: 'ZERSBACH'S SPOTLIGHT'

SUMMARY: Groups of athletes from all participating countries enter the stadium. They take a seat. A map of the Greater Zersbach County is shown with paper cutouts of its municipalities in shot lying on the ground. Footage is taken of Zersbach's culture and the social life of Zersbach, including Zersbach during the Youth Olympiad. Volunteers and performers try to drag the cutouts upright. One of them is the Youth Olympiad mascot, Zerter who comes out into the stadium some time later.

ANNEX B: A TRIBUTE (UPRAN ANTHEM: 'MONOPATI GIA OULUS')

SEGMENT 4: 'A LEGACY TO LEAVE'

SUMMARY: Cultural performances centered on the Haoene-Zersbach region and eventually all of Besern. 

SEGMENT 5: Will be written when the next host of the Youth Olympiad is selected.

SEGMENT 6: 'PASSING THE BATON'

SEGMENT 7: 'MOVING ON TO THE NEXT CHAPTER'

SUMMARY: The Haoene-Zersbach Symphony Orchestra and the Haoene-Zersbach Youth Choir perform a soft jubilant ending piece of music. The stadium lights turn dark amber. The sprinklers installed on the stadium roof start to rain down on the stadium. The cauldron dissipates at the ending of the music. The final fireworks display commences.

This telecast ends without a closing statement.
