Jay for Foreign Affairs – Stronger than ever
#21

My fellow South Pacificans:

Thank you for voting in this election, regardless of whom you voted for. Democracy is at its strongest when most people participate, so thank you again for casting your votes. I am humbled to serve as the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the second time, but I also want to thank my opponent Qaz for running a good and dignified campaign, a person who is just as qualified to serve in this position.

Furthermore, I wish to congratulate the rest of the candidates who have won their respective elections and all the other candidates who put their names forward and shared their respective visions for the region. We have a fair mix of new, old, and familiar faces in our next Cabinet, and I look forward to working with them in the upcoming term.

Much has changed since the last time I served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, but our regional objectives largely remain the same. Throughout the upcoming term, I will work with our friends in the Partnership for Sovereignty to bolster its position in the World Assembly and work towards expanding our alliances within the defendersphere.

We are truly stronger than ever before, and we accomplished this by sticking to our principles. Let's go out and continue walking down this path.
