The sun falls over the South Pacific, refracting off the top of the ocean to produce deep blue-green waves and a beautiful orange sunset. Most nights, the region's many residents each sleep on their own islands, having returned home from a day of raucous celebration at the Lampshade District on the central island. However, this particular night was a special night, it was the evening of Creation Day, commemorating the entire earth's spawning into existence from space dust.

To celebrate, many South Pacificans stayed late at the Lampshade Bar, exchanging old stories, drinking S.P.I.T., and playing games. Near midnight, the party began to die down, as party-goers began to approach the bartender to clear out their tabs. Yet, before anyone could take the only ferry away from Lampshade Island, the lights flickered on and off. A booming voice surrounded the island, supernatural almost as it did not originate from a set of speakers, rather from an all-surrounding presence.

"Greetings fellow South Pacificans, and welcome to my special way of celebrating Creation Day. Or rather, Creation Week. I am one of you, sitting here on this island and reminiscing about the old times, but I am also your host for these...special celebrations."

A gasp went through the assembled crowds. They looked at each other, uneasy and unnerved. South Pacificans inched away from one another, the words of the omnipresent voice sinking in.

"These are the rules. I have taken one of the parts of propeller for the ferry, meaning you're all stuck on this island. If you can find out who I am, you'll be able to find the part and all escape from the island. Each night you can't figure it out, I will kill one of you. Each day, you will get the chance to try to find and kill me and recover the part, but if you fail, yet another South Pacifican will die. If I kill all of you, I win. If you all find me, you win. I would offer you this as a deal, but it's more of an ultimatum, you don't really have a choice in the matter."

The voice paused, letting the impact of its words sink in.

"Let the games begin."

Hey everyone! I decided to try to bring back a game of werewolf to TSP. It's been a while since I've hosted one of these, but I've had great fun both hosting and playing in the past, so I figured I may as well give it another shot.

The number of players will shape the exact roles and the number of each role, as a result I'll reveal these things after the sign up list is complete. If you've never played before, werewolf is a social deduction/party game (similar to "mafia" if you've played before) where the majority of the participants are "villagers" and try to find the "wolves" who are killing them each night. There are two game phases: day and night. During the day phase, the village gets to vote on someone to "kill", in hopes they kill the wolves. During the night phase, the wolf/wolves select a villager to kill, and depending on the game set up some other special roles will get to play as well.

For now, I'll just open sign ups. If you want more information or examples, I recommend checking out the other threads in this sub-forum that are games that have fully played out in the past. After we get a rough head count, I'll put out a set of roles and a full set of rules.

Sign ups will be open for one week until 11/18 that way people have an opportunity to see the thread and sign-up if they're interested. To sign up, just post in this thread and I'll add you to the list!
