ISIS

New guys come in and call it Al-Qaeda, kill those leaders, new guys start up and call it ISIS. If it wasn't for the oil, if everyone just left and let them starve it would be over very quickly

Al-Qaeda was formed first, in 1989 the Taliban was formed in 1994 and ISIS was founded in 2013. You are in some ways right but in others wrong by saying they are all the say group.

The original Al-Qaeda formed by Osama Bin Laden and Abdullah Azzam is no more. Al-Qaeda is Arabic for "the base" it was the base for these other terrorist groups. What people often forget about Al-Qaeda is that the US supported it and give it weapons and trained their troops. This was because Al-Qaeda fought the Soviet Union when it invaded Afghanistan.

The Taliban was originally a group of religious students who supported the Afghan government and fought in the civil war, however it then begin terrorising the Afghan people by imposing Sharia law upon the people.

ISIS (Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant)  is a splinter group from Al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) however Al-Qaeda has since disbanded it's self from ISIS because of it's brutality. ISIS made huge military gains in 2013/2014 and since the capture of Mosel's it has declared itself a caliphate. The capture of Mosel's sent shockwaves around the world as it raised ISIS cash reserves to about $2 billion dollars. It is also significant because it opens the road to Baghdad, the only large City before Baghdad was Tikrit. Tikrit has been captured by ISIS however the Iraqi forces are starting to retake most of the city.

They are all Arab fanatics protecting and purifying the homeland.

The US has tested small nuclear warheads that would be capable of destroying ISIS encampments. The use of these would allow us to help solve the problem with no risk of US or UK lives.
However, nuclear weapons have a sort of taboo surrounding them. This would force the US or UK to initiate such a bombing in secret, without public approval.
In other words, there are no good options.

Yeah...
I am sure the United States is not insane enough to use any kind of nuclear weapons in actual warfare ever again.

Nope I don't. The US scares me, especial with Republicans rising up.

Russia?! All they care about is making the U.S. look bad and Putin trying to consolidate power and expand Russia's territories as far out as the Warsaw Pact reached.

Which is bad, because the largest producer of uranium ore is Kazakhstan, which is literally in Russia's shadow.

No Great Britain. At the time it was called Great Britain because Wales was a part of England and because of the Act of Union Scotland and England joined together to create Great Britain.
