Dr. Italī's condition has improved. The doctors announced that he is still in a coma but he is showing signs of recovery. Although the bullets have been removed, irreparable damage has been done to his spine which will leave him paraplegic. The minister for education, Erwi Friew from the Reform Eflad! party has been appointed as interim minister for interior affairs.

The referendum whether to change Eflads flag, and if yes to which design, is taking place under high security measures. The voters have been asked what they think about the increased police presence. Some said they were a bit intimidated by the high police presence but are thankful that security is being provided.

Today, a rouge citizen hijacked a private aircraft and threatened to crash it into the Centrus Center where the Government is located. The Reserve Guard Air Chamber, after an hour, made the decision to intercept the plane. At 2:55 PM, the plane was shot down off the coast of Akeros, killing the pilot. FIC investigations into the situation are underway.

Dr Italī's condition has worsened today. Due to an infection in the liver area he had to be operated. He suffered a cardiac arrest during the operation. He is still in surgery.

Dr. Weral Italī has passed away. Today at 18:38 he suffered a cardiac arrest from which he did not recover.
The Prime Minister has not yet commented.
Yesterday his condition worsened and he had to be operated. He was out of the operating room at around 3 in the morning.
The former Minister of Home Affairs was shot on the 01.09. attending a march after the car bomb attacks on the ministry building. He is the first victim of an assassination for 64 years. The attackers have been identified as figureheads of the Freedom Front. The search for one more is still underway.
The newspapers have struck an agreement to not publish the names of the FF figureheads.
