I rather like the look of it, but it's way too expensive. I can't even afford an Xbox One or PS4 and those are now much better value than the Switch will be at launch.

300€ would be okay, but anything above from that, also taking into account, that there will be no starter-game like Wii Sports was for the Wii, is way too much! Plus the Online-mode, that's not free anymore as of Autumn 2017. That's, from my pov, the worst part of the Switch. Everything else can be excused somehow, but I hate it, that they will arrange an online-mode I've to pay for. Splatoon was one of my favourite games on the Wii U and now they publish Splatoon 2, but I can't play online or only in exchange for a fee? Nope! (Before someone comes up with the online-modes of the Xbox and Playstation: I wouldn't want to pay for them either and never paid for them, as I had a Xbox.)

I have missed three years of this console generation, and will probably have missed it entirely by the time this crisis ends. I'll also have to move in with my aunt in a town near Caracas for university purposes, so... it'll be even harder. Star Wars: Battlefront, Battlefield 1, Uncharted 4... all great games I can't play. *Drinks whiskey directly from the bottle*
