Thank you Fred for your question. Sedunn is an elective kingdom, so technically a monarchy. Elections are held every seven years, and the leader of the party with the most votes is declared king or queen (and becomes head of both state and government).
There are actually some occasions when the king wears his crown. One is the opening of the parliament ceremony, he also wears it for National Day and state visits to Sedunn.
The king lives in a building called Ninnd Grovnejj teivvtes, or "Little Grovnian Palace", a 500 years old building near the building of the parliament. There is no court there to grant his every wish, but there is a housekeeper and a gardener. The Laurrmd Grovnejj teivvtes, or Great Grovnian Palace, the former royal residence until 200 years ago, now houses several departments and offices.
Otherwise his life is not very different from other politicians and other heads of states from non-monarchial nations.#VilueQA #Sedunn

Thank you Tracey for your question! Sedunn also has a space programme. It was started in the 70s, and has since then launched mostly smaller satellites into orbit. At first, the organisation was dedicated to military operations only, but branched off into a civilian department in the 80s, in which private companies are welcome to participate.

This Day in History: In 1949, the then-named Royal Karnetvorian Armed Forces invaded a bordering Sporaltryan colony in the first battle of the Great War. Heinkel He-111 bombers destroyed the Sporaltryan defenses, while 200.000 soldiers and hundreds of tanks penetrated the enemy lines. The invasion ended 8 days later, when the Sporaltryan forces in the colony surrendered.

On the whole, Sedunn is impressed by how Hammerstar has managed to go from almost complete isolation to become a major regional player. Still, much about life in Hammerstar is unknown. Vilue does not have any statistics on Hammerstar, apart from an independent survey conducted by O-Poll. Sedunners were asked which country they feel has most in common with Sedunn, culturally and politically. Hammerstar was ranked relatively low, probably because much about it is unknown.
A former colleague of mine, now working at one of the most popular search engines in Sedunn, told me that among nations in our region, interest in Hammerstar has risen the most over the last months. Searches for Hammerstar and related words has increased quite sharply
I have never tried fencing myself, but I do play a lot of tennis. Maybe we could have a match in a game somewhere in between. Maybe pool?#VilueQA #Sedunn
