The Democratic Alliance of the South Pacific (DASP)
#21

Frankly, I simply can not see this party doing anything good for the south pacific, Communism, as an idea has proven to be a failed and inefficient one, as shown by it's succumbing to socialism and state run economics, and tying your party to it is akin to strapping yourself onto a sinking stone in an effort to make it float.

However, looking over your post again, perhaps some simple redesigning and re-marketing might serve you better. You're main focus seems to be on opening the democratic process more, and putting the delegate under direct control of the populace. Perhaps restating your goals on a platform more conductive to democratic ideals might help you attain more useful comments, and less flame war.

Just my two cents, if you want to ignore them feel free, but no one in their right mind is going to vote for communism, no matter what spin you put on your brand of it.

UFI: People in this region aren't in their right mind. Otherwise, why would they choose pie? Tounge

FYI: The South Pacific Socialist Republic region has just fallen to forces loyal to TSP, denying Milograd the bolthole he created after his failed coup

Taken into account, thanks for the input.

Ok, I just have to say that now, while less controversial there is something ridiculously funny and/or confusing in your description. You say that you want to recognize Fascists as enemies of the south pacific, but the flag of your party clearly shows a Fascis (Bundle of Axe and Sticks), the Roman symbol of the emperors right to rule, and later the inspiration for the Italian Fascists, in fact it's the very thing that lends it's name to fascism. Now, maybe you had some deeper meaning under it, or perhaps an attempt at reverse psychology, but to me it seems stupid to have the symbol of something you appose on your own flag. It's like if Democrats put the Republican elephant on their flag. It just wouldn't make sense.

The Fascis is used as a symbol of Republicanism and democracy. See the hundreds of US government symbols which use them.

Yes the countries were/are. Their names said something like "Socialist Federation of Yugoslavia" or so. And when I mean secretly winning elections, I meant that the candidate is maybe of another party in disguise or something. And in top of all, eliminating/shortening a cabinet and putting the MA as the only person in the government and declaring war automatically to raiders/coupers! The power must be fragmented, not in just one area or person. And what did those raiders and coupers ever did to us?! Nothing! So, if they don't attack us, we leave them alone. We don't need to involve in a war without a reason! And sorry for the signatures. After all, is evil and no one even signed. Sorry. I wish you could forgive for the signatures. Sad

Socialism =/= Communism. And regardless of that, real life pseudocommunism has no bearing on this organization.

Again, read the damn Platform. I do not want to automatically declare war on all raiders/coupers.

My proposed government fragments the power even more.

Milograd did nothing to us? Sedgeistan? The New Inquisition never invaded our ally? Did none of that ever happen now?

Neither Milograd nor Sedgistan go about couping regions.
Which ally of ours did TNI invade? Are you talking about TRR?

1. Oh. Thanks for explaining.
2. I think your ideas really mean to unify the power in one single person.
3. I was talking about the others who did nothing to us. Those who did better watch out, because I 'll go all war on them!
