Announcement from the APCRC

Early this morning the APCRC agreed on the following for our first ever APC Regional Committee Elections. According to III.4 of our governing document "4. Elections for all members of the APCRC will be held the month before every other cabinet election. The exact date will be specified by the APCRC." The APCRC has decided that elections are to be held next month on the following time frame:
  • Nominations: September 1-7th.
  • Campaigning: September 1-10th (nomination must be expected to begin campaigning)
  • Voting: September 11th-16th (They will take office on the 17th)
We are very excited for this and hope the entire party will participate. As of right now we will only be electing the Chair and Vice chair however, should we get another member before September 1st we will also, then elect one APCRC General Member.
I also wish to inform the party that I will not be seeking re election as Chair. It has been great to build up this party from nothing, and for us to do so many things that "could not be done". And I want to let someone else now have the chance to lead this extraordinary group of statesmen(and women). I look forward to having a new Chair and I will be excited about what they will bring to the party.
