The Panama Papers
#21

Apathy amongst the populace will always exist. Your idea is good, but always keep in mind that the general populace isn't going to care and isn't going to notice.

I can see that most of you are quite skeptical about the effects of these leaks. If any of you live in Europe you do need to report fraud cases which happens in your country generally you can look up online what your tax authority is and if there is someone from your country which defrauded the state and did not pay its share you can report it (When said like this it sounds a lot like snitching).
If you believe this should be done at the EU level please contact your EU parliamentarian and request information on how they plan to strengthen the eu tax avoidance package (http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/tax...dex_en.htm) in order for this not to happen again. There is a lot of information online on how this can be done.
Finally, if you really want to make a change try to inform, and share this information on all your social media in order to put ask for people to put pressure on their representatives.
Personally i like the standard one email a day to my representative to ask what is he planning to do about it. I think he hates me because he blocked three of my email accounts.

(Renewing thread)

It has been more than a year since the release of the Panama Papers, but Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif has now been forced to step down by the Supreme Court because of it. Sweet justice.
