For Something a Little Different

Making up conspiracies about TNI, Kris' citizenship, or B&N doesn't make certain players divisive. It makes them generally toxic. You can't equate the two. You can't ignore the fact that the people who would spearhead a vote for my head or Kris' are the same people who wanted to manipulate elections, ban us from the region, and support a coup because it would get rid of us. A couple people can generate hysteria and work it to their advantage. I don't think it's a good idea to give one more way to do that, especially when doing so would literally bring the existence of the forums into question.

I'm done with this argument. If you can't see the irony in arguing that people who be driven out of the region as long as it's not you, I can't help here.

I suggest that the creators of the proposed Charters work together and fuse them together to create one very strong Charter. From there we will open up one more discussion over the final bugs, then a vote.

Wow...I didn't even knew this happened.

Well, my critiques about this new Charter...

1. What?! I have to keep on with the votes in order to keep my seat?! Can we not have a voting quota?
2. So the Prime Minister gets to nominate his entire Cabinet? No. We should elect our Cabinet like we do now. After all, this is not a true nation, where we elect representatives and a head of state only. Due to the sheer influence of these positions, unlike in real life, they should be elected, and our community is too small and/or lacking activity for a nominated Cabinet. This is my main opposition to this Charter.

Overall, I have to praise your compromise in the Delegate issue. In fact, even I could run, since this is just now under this Charter a glorified and a governmentally powerless position. And after I understood what you meant by your citizenship proposal, its great. Now everyone's a citizen if this Charter passes.

I may be blind or didn't read carefully, but where's the Parole Board in this Charter?

I do agree with Ryccia on his second point. PM get's to run with a deputy but everyone else needs to be voted on. Maybe some glorious day we will have a large forum community but for now we do need to vote on all cabinet positions.
Above all else, I hope to be a decent person.

makes one wonder about the necessity of an offsite-government at all.

Because some of us prefer the offsite government and forums to the basic tools of NS.

If we didn't, chaos everywhere. Anarchy. On-site governments are more vunerable and not very well-structured.

evidence for those claims?

You don't need clear evidence when you're stating the obvious.
