With the initial construction of the colonial capital city of Pavonis completed, the Colonial Legion has settled into a garrison. The civilian population has begun setting up agricultural and mining operations to march towards self-sufficiency.

A Ryccian garrison of 60,000-strong has been sent to secure the Hovian Bay Territory. 100,000 settlers will be sent in the next months to the bay in order to begin a farming and mining economy. Now, there are only 15,000.
The Imperial Union's Lithuania colony has started to extract lithium, the namesake ore of the colony. 10,000 settlers inhabit the controlled coast.

A dispute between Yanalopan and Byorn fishermen on fishing rights around the islands has led to the Imperial Union's and the Ryccian Federation's coast guards mobilizing to protect their fishermen. Emperor Albert I has pleaded the Union's government to negotiate a settlement to prevent a war for the fishing rights.

When word was received of Pavonis' completion, the Colonial Affairs Ministry approved an additional 40,000 applications for colonists (many of whom are volunteering to work in the iron, agate, and copper mines); the Colonial Expeditionary Legion's engineers are preparing to build additional settlements as a result. Having decided their single garrison would not be enough to defend the colonists in light of recent tensions between Yanalopan and Byorn, an additional three legions that were currently on reserve have been sent to keep the peace, and if necessary, provide security for negotiations.
The VE expeditionary force has landed on an unclaimed island to the South of the Senran Islands and set up a base of operations near the shore. The island has been named Erinea pulea or New Erinor and the colony Ciria pulea or New Ciria. Patrols into the interior have found no evidence of indigenous peoples or major hazards and so the request has been made for 5,000 colonists to begin building the new colony town and working for resources.

Frost Warships have begun chasing away fishermen that have strayed into Frost claimed seas. The Governor General of Senran island warn that states take extra care when fishing near frost waters so that they don't trespass on frost territory
The GI-landian minister of foreign affairs Dr. Frank Carlos announced the names of the new GI-landian territories today. The new island(s) of GI-Land will be called "Lukas-Archipel" (Lukas-archipelago), while the mainland-territory will get the Atlantic name "Ydertuhr" which would translate to "Leader Gate".

Some settlers formed the new "province party" (PP) to get heard in the parliament in Atlantis.
They most likely will be eligible to stand for election the next time.
