Legislator Roster and Monthly Activity Review
#1

Assembly of the Coalition of the South Pacific
Roster of Legislators and Information Regarding the Monthly Activity Review

The legislator roster spreadsheet, which is used for the monthly legislator activity check, is available for public viewing here (historical roster here).

Any legislator highlighted in red is not currently in compliance with legislator activity requirements. Any legislator highlighted in yellow is currently one missed vote away from non-compliance. Any legislator highlighted in green will be exempted for the month due to extenuating circumstances.

Please note that the spreadsheet is updated after each vote concludes, so if you have become compliant with activity requirements by voting on legislation that is still at vote, that will be reflected on the spreadsheet after voting on that legislation concludes.

The activity check will not be done until the first week of each calendar month, but the spreadsheet is being made publicly available so that legislators will more easily be able to track their own activity and work on correcting inactivity before the end of the month.

Please feel free to note any errors you believe have occurred in this thread as well.

If you continue to vote for the rest of the month, you may end up meeting the requirements, it just depends on how many more votes we have. Depending on the seriousness of your real life situation, I may, if the new amendments pass, be able to grant you an exemption based on extenuating circumstances. If you're comfortable disclosing what those circumstances were, and think they were serious enough to warrant exemption, just send me a PM.

I should note, though, as a general note to everyone, that I'm going to require that anyone's extenuating circumstances be fairly compelling, otherwise everyone will be coming to me with basic, everyday real life stuff like homework or exams asking for an exemption for extenuating circumstances. Everyday stuff can't constitute extenuating circumstances from the activity requirements, because everyone has everyday stuff to deal with.

If not, yes, you'll need to reapply during the first week of June after legislator status is revoked. Unfortunately, you won't be able to vote in the Cabinet elections, but if the new amendments pass you at least won't have to wait until those elections conclude to be readmitted.

Yeah, its not worth an exemption to be honest. I will try to catch up.

In accordance with Article IV, Section 6 of the Charter, legislator status is removed from the following for the month of May:

The following have been exempted by the Chair despite not meeting legislative activity requirements, but are reminded that they must ensure they meet activity requirements for the month of June:

Anyone whose legislator status has been removed is, of course, free to reapply here.
