If, as you say there has been serious attempts at subversion, then my opinion might change, but I need to understand what has actually happened and I don't think I do right now. Anyway, I don't need any further clarification. Thank you. That's really odd that such a thing happened, but glad it was resolved!
This bill will get my full support.

Since we've reached the fifth day I motion for a vote on the repeal of the treaties.
Seconded

Local Council Member(April 24-August 11) Court Justice of TSP(August 15-December 7)
What is the potential blowback on this?
I know the discussion is somewhat 'over' but maybe it might be better for the time being to maintain the NAP, while repealing the other treaty, even if nothing ever comes of the NAP, or we get rid of it later.
There isn't any potential blowback, as the CU doesn't exist anymore in a meaningful manner - and the remnant of it has annoyed most of our allies as well.
I'd expect some crowing/shitposting from LWU/Balder, but nothing to care about. Minister of Media, Subversion and Sandwich Making

Perfect, then this will have my full support as well.
Update:
Given the recent developments in Warzone Lazarus, and Celestial Union opportunists starting to knock at The South Pacific's doors, I have invoked Article IX Section 1 of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between The South Pacific and Lazarus. The Celestial Union's plotting to subvert our democratic structures and parasitically attach themselves onto our region is in complete violation of of Article II Sections I-III. Therefore, for the time that we wait for this Repeal to pass, please also consider the Treaty as officially suspended until a "peaceful settlement" of the dispute. Ideally, we put it to vote at 4:30 as soon as our Chair elections end.
I realized that any citizen can bring this thicc bill to vote at the moment. On it friends o/
