What are your strategies of deciding how to vote on WA resolutions in the GA and SC?

Question one: When people feel like they're welcomed and accepted in a community, they're more likely to participate in a way that is meaningful and productive for both them and the region as a whole. I have two main ways that i think will help make both new and not so new players stick around and stay in the region, and participate in the WA. First by using a leadership style that is approachable and nontoxic, this will allow them to feel like they can actually Work with the leadership in the region, everybody will feel like they are important and that they are valued. When people feel like they're needed, they will be more likely to increase participation in both the WA and the region. The second way that i will seek to improve the participation rate of south pacificians in the WA is by working with the people that know how to get things done, and who will have relevant knowledge and opinions on the resolution.

Question two: This plays in with the second way that i suggested to increase participation in the WA. For example: If there are two resolutions on the floor, one in the GA dealing in a military matter and one in the SC dealing with a region that is to be condemned. In this situation i would first off call a meeting with the WA Adviser, Minister of the military, and the minister of forigen relations, as well as any relevant ambassadors to the region or the regions allies. I would ask their opinion on the matter and then vote the way that they think is best for our region. A "big man" leader is one who doesn't need opinions, real leadership should work with the people who know what they're doing. If there were to be a situation where the cabinet or the relevant leaders are divided over how to proceed i would ask for the opinions of people in the region, by listening to their opinions, thoughts, and ideas i would have an idea of what the people want. Overall the way i plan to vote is in a way that benefits the region the most.

I may have misunderstood your meaning of the term but is it not the case that many, if not all effective forms of executive decision-making requires a strong decisive leader?

I am curious to what extent will you decentralise your authority in your efforts to practice a more consultative style of leadership?

(Edit: my apologies, I didn't see the second page where you gave an answer which largely applies to my question)

I think that a more decisive leadership style is more fit for the PM, than the delegate. The delegate doesn't have a lot of executive ability, and there's a good reason for this. Also i don't necessarily see that a leader who rules with the people is weaker than a "big man" leader.

I plan on not changing the role of the delegate, but changing how i approach the role. I'm not afraid of an executive decision, but i think that working with people is better than working against them. Ultimately if i am to become the delegate, the things that are in my power are still my choice, but i can guarantee you that getting help from others wont hurt my ability to effectively lead.

(No need to apologize, most of a politicians job is to repeat themselves.)

The South Pacific is home to more than 6,000 nations, but only a small percentage of them participate actively in regional affairs, and this issue is not new and over the years our region's leaders have failed to tackle this issue, which made it even bigger. How do you, as the delegate, plan to solve this issue once and for all?

This is something that ive thought in depth about, and my solution to increased user participation is a simple one, but one i think will work. There's two parts to this plan: 1. encouraging new users with approachable and non toxic leadership (which is something ive talked a lot about) and 2. make new users feel welcome, and therefore much more likely to stick around and be a valued member of the region.

I will contest the claim that past leaders have done nothing to tackle the issue of participation and made it even worse. Nothing could be further than the truth.

What are your plans with regards your role in the WA development program that is in the works? How do you see your role in WA and endorsement development? How would you describe your endo-tarting skills?

Question 1: As delegate i will work with people that have a good base of knowledge and a history in leadership, i will have to review the specifics but if this program is in the works then i will probably continue it depending on the advice i receive from our senior WA advisors.

Question 2: The delegate is the person who deals with the WA and matters of endorsement development, so i will be more hands on when it comes to this area, but i will still seek and use help and advice from those around me to better my understanding and interpretation of the WA laws.

Question 3: My ability to get endorsements i would say is adequate, and if i were to need to, i believe that i would be able to get a large amount of endorsements in a short amount of time.

You've mentioned previously that you've been inconsistently active. As someone who's fallen asleep at the wheel before, the consequences for a lapse in activity in a delegate can really be tough for the region. How do you assure us you will be active for your term.

Thank you.

Thank you.

I am a driven and hard working person, and that is why I have had a lapse in activity recently. I was behind in school and really concerned about it, but I can gladly tell you that I caught back up and graduated with my class, which was something I was told wasn't really possible for me.

The explanation I provided to the question up to now is just an explanation.

I dont like using the word "assure" because even the best laid plans can go awry, but I can tell you truthfully and honestly that I fully intend on fulfilling all my duties and being very active if I am luckily enough to be elected, I can tell you that I fully plan on using non-toxic leadership in order to help the region, and I can tell you that I really hope to be an ally to new users and new nations to help them become active and valued members of the region. This is what I hope to do, and while nobody can tell what happens in the future, I can promise that I will to the best of my ability do everything I can to make sure it happens.

Thank you
