Without looking at the Charter, please describe in your own words what the responsibilities of the Delegate are.

Maybe, if I work on it

Sorry for the late reply.

To answer your question, I love The South Pacific. There is a great community and is almost like my internet family. Honestly, there is not much to improve on The South Pacific as a whole. Government wise, we definitely need more inclusion of the citizens (more gameside), as well as increased relations with regions, and tightened security, to stop rogue regions. If you want me to go in more detail, just ask.

Currently and most importantly, the main regions of the 5 Pacifics, The Rejected Realms, and the resurrection regions. I want increased relations with these because they are the main regions of the game and have quite a bit of influence. And also from here, we can attract new and returning players.

As always, the larger regions and the raider regions need to be kept at bay. We do not need to be allies if they think differently than us, but at least be friendly enough with them where they don't pose a threat.

To me, an important initiative is to ally or make friends with smaller regions. While they may be small and powerless, these are (in my opinion) are the best regions as they are small, but loyal and have a great culture. We may not gain helpful political and military allies, we most definitely gain friends and legions of new supporters.

Thanks for asking.

Great question. In my opinion, the delegate is like an American First Lady or Vice President; a person with zero-power, but extreme political influence. To me, the delegate is the figure head/main face of TSP; a head ambassador of sorts. A person that is not there to lead (falls to prime minister), but to give their advice and opinions. Someone to set the examples that the rest of the community should follow. The delegate is not the head of the government, but the community; an icon of sorts; someone to look up to. That is what I think the responsibilities of the Delegate are.

In more technical terms, the delegate should be there to:
1) give their opinion and advice
2) set goals for TSP
3) be the face of TSP to the rest of the NS community
4) be the head of the community
5) I had way more earlier, but now it went away

Thanks for asking

1. You are aware that 'ressurection' regions are called Sinkers, correct?
2. You are also aware that the group of regions you mentioned (GCRs) contain regions like the Pacific, Balder, and Osiris, who have in the past and in the present been actively hostile to TSP and her allies?
3. You are also aware that large UCRs define some of our greatest allies, correct?
4. Finally, I want to point out that your advocating for smaller, say 20-nation regions, appears because you have a position, and was a former Delegate, in a region this size. This is a conflict of interest.

The point of making allies isn't to 'gain loyal supporters'. It is, in fact, to gain political and military allies. The problem with small regions is that they are constantly unstable and could be raided ar any moment. And they flood our embassies and just overall make us look weak. That's why embassy requirements are a thing.

1. No I was not
2. Yes I am aware, but the general group is a target of mine.
3. Yes, and we should continue support.
4. Ok, and your points make sense. I have taken note of them.

Delegate Question:
What is your opinion on political parties on TSP? Do you think that they are outdated and should be removed, or do you think we should keep them? Do you wish to form your own political party?
