Right to Internet access
#11

In Sedunn only indirectly. By law, all municipalities are required to have libraries that are free of charge. The Ministry of Education has made it mandatory for all public libraries to offer access to the internet, but it is not a law. Every holder of a library card has a certain amount of data they can use each week.

In Transsuneria, no. Currently the infrastructure is poor and costs are high. It is rapidly being mended though.

There is no recognized right to internet access in the Tecorogan federation, but government policy has recognized the important role of connectivity plays in this day and age and so have supported efforts to give citizens access.

Neither West Carlisten nor Charles Rock recognise such a right currently.

However, West Carlisten heavily subsidises internet access and poorer members of society may be eligible for free access for such purposes as school, university and work.
Furthermore there is effective free access to library computers.

Charles Rock has, for the most part, banned access to the Internet.

The Empire of Antarcha has declared that the internet is an essential "information highway", so all citizens have a right to access it.

Whilst no right exists, there is a requirement for national telecommunications providers to ensure infrastructure to property is available.

Presently, with the exception of the region of Northern Beepee, there is 98% coverage.
