Possible safe route: "The planet obviously made it"

The rogue planet that was previously reported entering Treecuu space from the Veentu Badlands must have ventured through a traversable corridor. According to extrapolations made by the Treecuu University of Cin, the planet has been on a non-linear course, which dictates the presence of a channel or corridor, going around the spatial turbulence fields of the badlands. The study take into account the historical direction of travel, spin and magnetic pole shifts of the planet.

"Our findings indicate a corridor into or through the region [Veentu Badlands]. The planet obviously made it through, and so should ships. We recommend outfitting an expedition" notes Reect, manager of the Cin University team.

Expedition returns: traversable corridors found

The Treecuu exploratory expedition that was scrambled to investigate the possibility of traversable corridors in the Veentu Badlands has returned. Commodore Tuuth, leader of the expedition has reported that they were able to locate and enter a corridor of non-turbulent space right where the rogue planet had left the Veentu Badlands. The corridor likely has several junctions and stretches "dozens of light years" straight into the uncharted area. The next step in the exploration mission is to send hundreds of warp drones to chart the corridors.

The 'Rogue Corridors' - home of the Loo-Yee?

The corridors into the unknown territories known as the Veentu Badlands, could they be where the Loo-Yee* dwelled? And are they still there? These are real concerns that must be addressed, according to I'eel, Professor of Treecuu FTL history at the University of Cin:

"The fact that the Loo-Yee come from nowhere and simply disappeared dictates either an exotic means of travel or that they were 'corridor dwellers'. They did not leave any trace of their civilisation anywhere in known space, as attested by the Treecuu-Stoinian joint exploratory fleets. There is a risk that they still are near Treecuu space and we must act upon this knowledge."

Upon popular demand, the Treecuu Remote Fleet has intensified patrolling at the Veentu border.

*The Loo-Yee were a hostile civilisation that waged a war of extermination against the young Treecuu nation and several of its neighbours. The Loo-Yee were defeated by Treecuu navies about 230 standard years ago and have not been encountered again.

Distress call intercepted - Treecuu exploratory ship scrambled

The Treecuu exploratory ship Ceeree, which has been exploring the southernmost reaches of the Tiyanki Territories, has reported that it has intercepted a distress call from a planet not far from Ch'Rattan Cartel territory. It is not certain what kind of distress the planet is in, but the ship has been redirected to lend whatever aid is needed.
