coast guard is actually a cool idea.

Do we get dolphins?

Also, since I forgot to put it in the 'campaign post', I don't hide my adspam position;

I take adspam against a GCR as a act of war and violation of sov. of that GCR perpetrated by the region, and if elected would decree any adspam would be seen as a transgression and act of war perpetrated against The South Pacific, one that may warrant military action of it persists. Violators would be notified of the first offense that it may be met with military action, and if the transgression continues military action may or may not be pursued, Probably not a full-blown occupation but a tag raid.

I also would like to see formal anti-adspam legislation, although its not entirely in my department.

Coast Guard was actually one of the choices when we voted on a new name. Tounge

Tbh, minus the adspam stuff, I would probably vote for you for the real MoA...

I'm upfront about my positions, anti-adspam being one of them, like it or not I guess ^_^

Coast guard would be cool, so would Navy, but South Pacific Special Forces is cheesy, too cheesy.

Here go a couple of things:

1. To me it's just a name, so Coast Guard is cool.
2. I would really love to pass an amendment that codifies my ad spam policies, but I also don't consider violating regions to have committed an act of war. I'm not saying a tag raid wouldn't be a cool thing to do, but act of war is not really the word.
3. I actually might vote for you, if this was a real campaign.

1. mhm
2. I can't entirely call it a Transgression of TSP's sovereignty without a law to be transgressed, but yeah I do agree.
3. We need to RON then i should be able to enter.

You'd have my vote. Been saying forever the region is big enough to support ALL the r/d scenarios. A Coast Guard/National Guard for defending and a Special Forces for "other activities.

This wasnt exactly what I was thinking, but, I do really like it, heres a quick idea;

South Pacific National Guard - Reservists as previously mentioned, not asked to actively participate in update but called upon for endorsements in SoE's and prolonged occupations, not nearly as trained as the 'professionals' and WA needs not leave TSP.

South Pacific Navy/coast guard/marine corps/whatever we agree on - 'other activities' - actively defending/raiding/ect.

Both of these would fall under the MoA (well, i guess we'll need a new name now - maybe Chairman of the Joint Chiefs? with generals/admirals leading each branch) but be independent of eachover.

Works for me. The only thing we would need is bodies. Farengeto and I are the only remaining members of the last "active" period of the SPSF and there isn't really any forerunners for people to be named a "General" at this point, but it's easily fixable.

Well, the NG's recruitment standards would be extremely laxed in comparison to the full-time branch, mainly being a Home Guard unit, which would bring otherwise ineligable people into the army, from there we can recruit into the full-time branch, as a example.

-Chairman of the Joint Chiefs = Minister of the Army
-The 'Chiefs' are the 3 generals as defined in law.
