Day 17 - Christmas Cards

Today we are designing our own Christmas cards. Will there be a cosy cottage and some candy canes? Santa? Palm trees? Perhaps an ugly Christmas sweater theme? You decide! Post them here today, and POST (=Post Organisation of the Southern Totality) guarantees they will be delivered before Christmas Eve.

Day 18 - The Holidays in your NS Nation

Our nations on the NationStates site are very different. Some are carefully crafted in realism or perhaps steampunk, others are as wild and crazy as they get! Day 19 - Dreidel Game

Time to participate in the winter Hanukkah holiday game of the Jewish people!With a game that has been around since around 1890, it makes sense that this game has captured the fun of kids of all ages! Here's the rules and basic outline:

Any number of people can play.
Each player begins the game with an equal number of 10-15 pieces of items such as nuts, money, chocolate chips, raisins, candy etc.
At the beginning of each round, every player puts on game piece into the center called the "pot". Every time the pot is empty or has one left, every player will put in one piece.
One begins first can be decided on a match of rock-paper-scissors, youngest goes first, oldest goes first, or whatever order your group decides.
Every time it's your turn, spin the dreidel once. Depending on the side it lands on, you give or get game pieces from the pot.
If you find that you have no game pieces left, you are either out or may ask another player for a loan.
When one person has one everything, that round of the game is over!

You can modify the design to instead of using the traditional Hebrew signs, it can be snowflakes, snowmen, snowballs, a fireplace, an evergreen, or whatever your imagination can think of!

Here's the lowdown of what's happening at Discord The Dreidel game, occuring at 22:00 UTC, will be conducted as follows: -Everyone shall start with 15 “snowflakes”. -At the beginning of each round, each player will add 1 “snowflake” into the pot (also when the pot is empty/ 1 snowflake left).-At the start of a turn, the player will use Coco’s “roll” command (by typing in “!roll 4”)... -1=Nun, means nothing. Player does nothing. -2=Gimel, means everything. Player takes everything in the pot. -3=Hey, means half. Player gets half of the pot. -4=Shin, means “put in”. Player adds a snowflake to the pot.-If a player is out of snowflakes, the player is out.-Game ends when one player remains. Logistics manager will keep track of how many snowflakes each player has.
Game Manager will lead the game.
